SSELF works towards providing education to children from marginalized communities and conducts awareness campaigns to promote education, conducts health camps in rural areas, empowering women and promoting gender equality. SSELF conducts workshops, provides skill training and creates awareness about women’s rights. SSELF also conducts campaigns to promote eco-friendly practices, plants trees, and works towards the conservation of natural resources.
SSELF was formed in 2021, In the memory of Mrs. Shirin Santram to provide Educational opportunities, Skill Development, Research, Employment for poor and needy children.

SSELF conducts community meetings, focus group discussions, or other outreach activities to identify and engage with potential partner groups at the village level. We also receive referrals from local authorities, community leaders, or other NGOs working in the same geographical area. We already have partnerships with larger organizations or networks that have established relationships with community-level groups. We have organised may programs with Aangannwadi and some NGOs.. SAARD, Wilsonia College Society, Wilsonia Degree College Society.
Once identified, NGOs typically work closely with village-level partner groups to build their capacity, provide technical assistance, and support them in implementing programs and projects that align with the SSELF’s mission and goals.
Anyone irrespective of age, gender, education, or nationality can volunteer with SSELF in many different ways, even sitting at home. Volunteers can help with various tasks, such as organizing events, fundraising, outreach and advocacy, administrative work, or helping with specific projects. They can also help in spreading the word about their work and their mission. Share their social media posts, talk to friends and family about their work, and encourage others to get involved.
No, there is no membership fee for joining SSELF. Anyone, anywhere can become a member by joining our work in different capacities.

On request we will surely issue a certificate for the work and duration of time that a person volunteers with SSELF on the tasks assigned by us. On the other hand we strongly discourage people from approaching us with requests from their friends, relatives, children, college students, wanting a certificate when they are not actually interested in working with us as a volunteer.

We would be happy to help with your travel expenses, given our limited resources we are unable to offer accommodation and other stay-related arrangements for interns. Also we do not give stipend for internship.
As a volunteer, you could help with organizing fundraising events, writing grant proposals, or creating social media campaigns. You could help with organizing events, creating educational materials, or engaging with policymakers.
You can start the career as a Volunteer and after few years you could even reach a top management profile like – program manager, project manager etc. with a handsome yearly package. You can also become a part of social welfare activities with good exposure. You could also have travelling opportunities in local areas and abroad also.
SEELF arranges the fund for doing activities like – Individual Donations by doing direct mail campaigns, online fundraising platforms, or through face-to-face solicitation.
We also make Corporate Partnerships. These partnerships can take the form of sponsorships, cause-related marketing campaigns, or employment linked programs.
We also get some grants by doing significant funding for specific programs or projects. SSELF uses social media and online campaigns to reach a wider audience and raise funds. These campaigns can include crowd funding, peer-to-peer fundraising.
